I have worked in the Open Source community for over 25 years and in the Open Source industry for almost 20, particularly as founding engineer at Grafana Labs, an open core business which I helped grow for 0 to become a unicorn, in harmony with healthy open source projects with happy communities. I have picked up some experience and learnings which may be helpful, particularly to startups from seed to series-B, or to individuals considering starting an open source business.
